CanSkate

Equipment required:

• Pair of skates - either hockey or figure skates
• CSA approved hockey helmet
• Warm clothing, preferably in layers which will allow for movement but keep the skaters warm.  Avoid ski pants as they limit movement and can hinder the skaters from being able to easily get up from the ice after falling.
• Mittens or gloves

Skate times are from 4:00-4:45 on Mondays and Fridays.

The Coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).

Star Skate

Equipment required:

• Good pair of figure skates
• Clothing that allows for good movement but will keep the skaters warm
• ​A Yoga matt

Skate times are from 4:45 - 6:00 on Mondays followed by a stretch class from 6:00-6:30, 4:00-5:00 on Wednesdays and 4:45-7:00 on Fridays (on Fridays with no school StarSkate will run from 1:45-4:00).

​Skate times for Fall StarSkate (September 3 through October 3) are from 4:00 - 5:00 Mondays and Wednesdays and 4:00 - 6:00 Fridays

The Coaches are NCCP certified to instruct skaters in skills required by the Skate Canada StarSkate program.

Power Skate

Equipment required:

• Hockey skates
• Requires CanSkate Level 4 or 1 year of hockey experience

Skate times are from 10:00 to 11:00 on Sundays for 10 weeks. Pending enough skaters registered
